IT'S EASY TO LOSE HOPE.

We're surrounded by distractions. In a world filled with negativity, it's easy to lose hope.

As a girl, I was part of a family that went to church. But as years passed, I noticed going to church slowly got replaced with baseball games, homework, and practices. In itself, these aren't wrong, but the priorities visibly shifted.

Bibles soon started collecting dust and became a decoration rather than a tool that was once used to know God's promises, remind us of our history, and give us the strength we would need to navigate through this life!

I started to ask myself!

Is all the mess we see around us because we have taken God out of the equation?

Is all the mess in our lives because we are doing everything on our own and not putting God first?

Is the problem because we have dusty bibles?

I, too, am guilty of having a dusty Bible at times. That is, until something happened to me where I had to choose between a truth or a lie.

Negative thoughts swirled around me, saying that I wasn't good enough and was a failure. They fought against words of TRUTH and encouragement that brought LIFE. The ones that I recalled from my Bible on the shelf.

I'm happy to say I chose the ones that made me feel better! I decided to reopen the dusty pages and ask God to show me He was real. Once I talked to God and patiently listened for His words instead of my own, my life changed forever!

The change I know now only comes from having a personal relationship with Him. I began scribbling down scripture to display in my kitchen for myself and, hopefully, my kids to see.

The more I read these words of LIGHT, the better I felt. The better I felt, the more I wanted to share with others how knowing God's promises changes everything!

This is the heart behind Stick to Scripture. All of this was created with the intention of bringing the Word of God back into our homes, hearts, and busy lives, one scripture at a time—with reusable clings—that can be displayed as a daily reminder and tool to memorize Scripture.

My prayer is that these words fill your home and heart with LIGHT and LIFE, "clinging to Jesus" everywhere you go.
